Hatters Visit FGCU for Regular Season Finale

Week 12 Preview
The Stetson Hatters will face ASUN East Division leader FGCU in the regular season finale Saturday evening in Fort Myers.  First serve is set for 6 p.m. with a video stream on Facebook Live.

ASUN Berth
The Hatters have already clinched an ASUN Championship berth and the No. 4 seed in the ASUN East Division. Stetson will face Jacksonville State (#1 West) at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18 in the ASUN Championship quarterfinals.  The semifinals will be played on Nov. 19 and the Championship match will be on Nov. 20.  FGCU and Alico Arena will serve as the championship host.

All-Time Series
FGCU leads the all-time series 27-2. The Eagles have won 18 in a row, including a 3-0 decision in DeLand earlier this season.  Stetson's last win in the series came in 2013 in Fort Myers.

ASUN Leader
Elena Djokovic leads the ASUN in kills (364) and ranks third in kills-per-set (3.60).  In ASUN play, she leads the league in kills (218) and kps (3.82).

Freshman of the Week
Rookie setter Nyah Molina was named ASUN Freshman of the Week for the third time this season after registering a pair of 30+ assists, 20+ dig double-doubles at Kennesaw State and Liberty.  Her 21 double-doubles this season is a school record in the rally scoring era (old record: 19 by Kira Smedley).

Standish Heating Up
Sophomore Anabelle Standish has been on fire of late.  The outside hitter is averaging 2.88 kps, 2.38 dps, 0.71 bps and hitting .267 over the past six matches. She had career highs of 17 kills, 14 digs and four blocks in the five-set win over Liberty.

Muldrow Stepping Up
Middle blocker Kennedy Muldrow has stepped up brilliantly in the injury absence of senior Alexis Thompson. In the past eight matches, Muldrow is hitting a team-high .330 and averaging 1.67 kills-per-set and 1.13 blocks-per-set.  

Miscellaneous
- Stetson leads the ASUN in digs-per-set (16.61) and solo blocks (94)
- Kaylee Oscarson leads the ASUN in solo blocks (33)
- Stetson is seeking its second winning season in conference play since 2002. The Hatters were 9-7 in 2019.
- Alejandra Perez owns the eighth highest single-season digs total in school history (425).
- Elena Djokovic has recorded double-digit kills in seven straight matches
- With 29 more digs for Nyah Molina, Perez and Molina will be the first Stetson duo since 1985 with 400 digs each in the same season.

This season, Stetson is:
- 13-2 when outhitting opponent
- 10-1 when hitting .200 or better
- 10-1 when winning the first set
- 9-0 when leading 2-0 at the break
- 4-2 in fifth sets
