Hatters Fall 3-0 in ASUN Quarterfinal

Jacksonville, Fla. -- UNF hit .274 and collected 12 blocks as a team to defeat Stetson 3-0 Saturday night in the ASUN Volleyball Championship quarterfinals at UNF Arena.

The Ospreys (10-9) won by scores of 25-13, 25-16, 28-26 to advance to next week's semifinals.  The Hatters conclude their 2021 spring season with a 6-8 mark.

Anabelle Standish and Elena Djokovic led the Hatters with seven kills apiece.  Stetson hit just .009 as a team.

The match was the final contest for seniors Chelcie Spence and Naina Ivanova, who each played in all 96 matches over four seasons without missing any.  Spence finishes her record-setting career as the Stetson all-time leader in digs (1597) and digs-per-set (4.44).  Ivanova compiled 1961 assists and 916 digs during her standout career as well.
