Hatters Dropped by No. 19 UCF

No. 19 UCF handed Stetson a 7-0 loss in men's tennis, Sunday at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona.
 
The Hatters (1-3) dropped the doubles point to start the day. Stetson's No. 3 duo of Fabian Penzkofer & Sven Thiergard were tied in their match when doubles play was halted.
 
UCF dominated singles play, winning all 12 sets. Only Clement Hamel pushed his opponent, taking the second set to a tiebreaker before falling, 3-7.
 
Stetson returns to action when the Hatters host Furman, 3 p.m., Friday, at Mandy Stoll Tennis Center.
