Hatters Fall Twice on Saturday

Kennesaw, Ga. -- Stetson dropped a 7-1 decision to Bellarmine and a 9-1 decision to Lipscomb Saturday on the first day of the ASUN Divisional Crossover games at Bailey Park.

The Hatters (6-18) collected 11 hits on the day, including two each from Alyssa Gilman, Elizabeth Jackson, and Lizzie Shubert.  Shubert and Nikki Steiniger each hit doubles.

However, Stetson committed seven errors on the day which led to eight unearned runs.

The crossover games do not count toward the ASUN standings.

The games continue Sunday as Stetson faces Lipscomb at 11 a.m. and Kennesaw State at 1:30 p.m.
