Elena Djokovic Named Second Team All-Conference

Sophomore averaged 3.9 kills and 3.3 digs this season

DeLand, Fla. -- Stetson University sophomore outside hitter Elena Djokovic (Belgrade, Serbia) has been named ASUN Second Team All-Conference, the league announced on Friday.

Djokovic led the Hatters and ranked third in the ASUN with a 3.90 kills-per-set average during the spring season. She posted double-digit kills in nine of her 12 matches, including a career-high 25-kill performance against North Florida. She earned two ASUN Player of the Week awards, becoming the first Hatter in 14 years to accomplish that feat. A six-rotation player, Djokovic ranked 10th in the ASUN in digs-per-set (3.29), marking the highest total in the league for any non-libero. She posted four double-doubles on the season, adding 13 blocks and 12 assists.

Djokovic earns her first career all-conference honor. She was named to the ASUN All-Freshman team last season.
