Stetson Volleyball middle blocker Kayla Balfour was named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball team, the Organization announced Tuesday afternoon. Balfour adds this honor to her ASUN Academic All-Conference recognition.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

A junior middle blocker from Pensacola, Florida, Balfour is majoring in sociology and serves as a leader both on and off the court. During the season, she ranked second in the ASUN in blocks with 114, while also recording 139 kills.

She posted career-best performances of 13 kills against Youngstown State and 13 blocks versus Quinnipiac. Her standout defensive effort earned her ASUN Defensive Player of the Week honors on Sept. 15.

"Kayla is a consistent hard worker on and off the court," Deng said. "She sets a great example for our younger players, and I'm proud of her continued improvement."

The CSC Academic All-District® teams recognize honorees across NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA women's volleyball, celebrating student-athletes who exemplify excellence in competition, academics, and leadership.
