ASUN Releases 2021-22 Women's Basketball Schedule

Hatters host Liberty on Jan. 5 to open 16-game schedule

DeLand, Fla. – The Stetson women's basketball team will play 16 ASUN Conference games next season as the league unveiled its 2021-22 conference schedule on Tuesday.

The Hatters will tip-off against Liberty at the Edmunds Center on January 5 to begin their 37th season in the conference.  Overall, the Hatters will play eight home games and eight road games throughout the months of January and February, leading up the 2022 ASUN Championship.

The newly expanded 12-team league features three new members – Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky and Jacksonville State.  JSU returns to the ASUN, where it was a member from 1995-2003.

The ASUN will be split into two 6-team divisions for basketball. Stetson, along with FGCU, Jacksonville, UNF, Kennesaw State and Liberty will play in the East Division, while Bellarmine, Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky, Jacksonville State, Lipscomb and North Alabama will play in the West.  Each team will play twice against teams in its own division (once at home and once away), and one crossover game each against teams from the opposite division.

In addition to Liberty, Stetson will host Kennesaw State (Jan. 15), FGCU (Jan. 19), Bellarmine (Jan. 27), Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 29), Jacksonville State (Feb. 9), Jacksonville (Feb. 17) and North Florida (Feb. 26).  The Hatters will visit North Florida (Jan. 8), Jacksonville (Jan. 12), North Alabama (Jan. 22), Lipscomb (Feb. 3), Central Arkansas (Feb. 5), FGCU (Feb. 12), Liberty (Feb. 19) and Kennesaw State (Feb. 24).

Stetson's non-conference schedule will be released in the near future.
