Week 4 Preview
For the first time this season, the Hatters will play in front of their home fans when they host the Stetson Invitational this weekend at the Edmunds Center.  On Friday, Stetson (4-5) will face USF (4-4) at 6 p.m.  On Saturday, the Hatters will square off against New Mexico State (6-3) at 11 a.m. and Bethune-Cookman (0-8) at 6 p.m.  The full tournament schedule can be found here.

Tickets
All tickets are $10 each and can be used all day for that day only.  Stetson students, faculty, and staff are admitted free with a valid ID.

All-Time Series
  • The Hatters are 3-36 all-time vs. USF. The Bulls have won 22 in a row.  Stetson's last win in the series came in 1985. USF's last trip to DeLand was in 1993.
  • The Hatters are 60-6 all-time vs. Bethune-Cookman. Stetson def. B-CU 3-0 earlier this season at FAU
  • Stetson and New Mexico State will be meeting for the first time.
GSU Invitational Recap
  • The Hatters posted their first 3-0 tournament since the FIU Kickoff in 2018
  • Elena Djokovic earned MVP honors while Alexis Thompson and Alejandra Perez joined Djokovic on the all-tournament team
  • Playing its first 5-set match of the year, Stetson rallied from an 8-5 deficit to defeat Presbyterian 15-11
  • Stetson went deep into extra points to win the fourth set against Georgia State, 29-27, staving off one set point along the way
  • Stetson collected 15 blocks as a team vs. the Panthers (season-high)
  • The Hatters never trailed in the match vs. Alcorn State (only one tie)
ASUN Award
Setter Nyah Molina was named ASUN Freshman of the Week after recording three double-doubles at the GSU Invitational

Streaking
  • The Hatters have won three straight and four out of six
  • Alejandra Perez has recorded double digit digs in all nine matches this season. She has reached that mark 28 times in her career.
  • Kaylee Oscarson has 23 blocks in her last five games. She leads the ASUN in solo blocks (15)
Defensive Numbers
As a team Stetson leads the ASUN and ranks 24th in the NCAA with a 17.2 digs-per-set average.  Libero Alejandra Perez ranks second in the ASUN and 60th among all players in the NCAA with a 4.74 digs average.  

Double Digit Kills 
Outside hitter Elena Djokovic has recorded double digits in kills in eight of nine matches this season.  She has reached that mark 31 times in her 48 career matches.
