The Hatters head to Jacksonville, Ala. this weekend for the start of ASUN Conference play.  In a three-game-in-three-day format, Stetson will face ASUN West Division foes Jacksonville State, North Alabama and Central Arkansas at 7 p.m. Friday, 1 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. Sunday, respectively.

Live Coverage
Live stats are available at jsu.statbroadcast.com.  Friday's match vs. Jacksonville State will be broadcast on ESPN+.

New Opponents
Stetson will face two of the three new conference schools this weekend in Jacksonville State and Central Arkansas.  The Hatters will face Eastern Kentucky next month.  In fact, Stetson has not played any conference schools outside of Jacksonville, UNF and FGCU since 2019.

Quotables
"Our team is coming together," junior middle Kaylee Oscarson said.  "We are working really hard at practice on the little things and trying to push each other.  I am excited to see the new teams that have come into our conference, plus the teams that we haven't seen since my freshman year, like North Alabama.  It should be an exciting weekend."

"We've been practicing really hard to get ready for the start of conference," freshman setter Nyah Molina said.  "The tournaments have helped prepare us."

All-Time Series
  • The Hatters are 7-7 all-time vs. Jacksonville State. The two former ASUN schools have met twice since JSU left the conference in 2002.  The Gamecocks won both those meetings, in 2012 in Montgomery and in 2019 at Jacksonville State.
  • Stetson leads the all-time series 4-0 over North Alabama.
  • The Hatters and Central Arkansas will be meeting for the first time
Back-to-back
For the second straight week, setter Nyah Molina was named ASUN Freshman of the Week. She averaged 8.2 assists and 4.5 digs and was named to the Stetson Invitational all-tournament team.

Good Memories
The Hatters return to the site where they posted a 3-2 win over SEC foe Mississippi State in 2019: Pete Mathews Coliseum.

Vossen Heats Up
Freshman Beatriz Vossen collected 27 kills and hit .367 over three matches at the Stetson Invitational last weekend.  She also collected six digs and four blocks.

Defensive Numbers
As a team Stetson leads the ASUN and ranks 24th in the NCAA with a 16.9 digs-per-set average.  Stetson also leads the league with 37 solo blocks.  Libero Alejandra Perez ranks third in the ASUN and 9th among all players in the NCAA with a 4.4 digs average.   Kaylee Oscarson leads the league with 18 solo blocks. Nyah Molina has the highest digs-per-set total of any non-libero (3.57).
