Hao Jin Playing Professionally in China

Former Hatter Signs With Beijing Baic Motors Women's Volleyball Club

DeLand, Fla. -- Former Stetson University volleyball standout Hao Jin is playing professionally with the Beijing Baic Motors Women's Volleyball Club in China.  Beijing Baic Motors is part of the 14-team China Volleyball League.

"I am happy to have the opportunity to compete at the professional level and prove myself," Jin said.  "Coach Denny and Coach Aaron helped me a lot to improve my skill level.  Also, I am really grateful for the leadership training and the team spirit at Stetson. Those skills helped me become a better player at the professional level."

Jin, a middle blocker, played in 55 matches at Stetson from 2017-18. She earned ASUN Second Team All-Conference honors as well as ASUN Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week honors her senior year. She posted the second-highest blocks-per-set (1.07) total by a Hatter in the rally-scoring era and did not miss a match in her career.  She graduated with a degree in Economics.

"We are very proud of her for continuing her volleyball career and for doing what she loves to do," Stetson head coach Yang Deng said.  "I know she can do it and will represent Stetson Volleyball very well."
