DELAND, Fla. - Luis Lara and Xavi Csato were each named by Top Drawer Soccer as the publication released its Men's National Midseason rankings featuring the highest ranked college soccer players in the nation and another for first-year players.

Luis Lara, a senior forward hailing from Mexico City, Mexico, has been named #86 in the Men's National Top 100 Players rankings. Lara has displayed incredible form this season, leading the team with nine goals and 20 points, along with two assists. His recent four-game goal streak, the longest in the program since 2008, underlines his remarkable talent. Lara also stands third in the ASUN conference for goals scored and points.

Xavi Csato, a redshirt freshman forward from Palm City, Florida, earned a spot on the Top 100 Freshman list at #89. In his first full season with the Hatters, Csato has made a significant impact, scoring two goals and providing a team-leading five assists, including a crucial two assists in the recent 3-1 victory over Lipscomb, securing a playoff berth for the team. Csato, who has started six of the team's 15 games, currently ranks fourth in the ASUN conference for assists.

As Stetson heads into its final game of the 2023 regular season against the Bellarmine Knights in Louisville, KY, on Saturday, the ASUN Tournament looms on the horizon, scheduled for November 4-11. Stetson, already one of the two teams to clinch a spot, will aim to secure the #2 seed for hosting rights.
