On a night that the Hatters honored Seniors
Amaris Carter and
Anabelle Standish the Hatters would fall to Kennesaw State 2-3.

The first set would start out close with the Hatters holding a narrow lead before erupting for four straight points putting them up 9-4. The Hatters would go on another four-point scoring run later in the set to extend their lead to seven as they would go up 15-8. After going up 19-10 the Owls would start to claw back tying the game at 22. Stetson would get a kill from Carter and then
Leilani Vitale to close out the set winning it 25-23.

The second set win for the Hatters was highlighted by
Nyah Molina earning her 1000
th career dig. The two teams would go back and forth with neither have larger than a three-point lead. The Hatters would win the set 25-23 on a kill from Standish.

The third set would be a different story for the Hatters as they would fall behind 8-16. Stetson then went on a five-point scoring streak cutting the lead to three with a kill from Standish and Molina. The Hatters continued clawing back but fell 22-25.Â

In the fourth set the Hatters worked on trying to close out the match but slowly started to lose steam before dropping it 20-25.

The fifth set was the Hatters final chance to capture victory and move up the conference standings. They couldn't find their rhythm dropping the set 9-15.

The Hatters finished each set with five errors or less.
Anabelle Standish led the team with 18 kills earning her 13
th double-double of the season. Molina also earned a double-double, leading the team with 49 assists while also adding 17 digs. Sugimoto led the team in digs with 19 as
Sophia Groom led in blocks with five.Â
