Stetson Prepares for ASUN Championship

The Hatters women's golf team will be heading to Alabama for the ASUN Championship at the RTJ Hampton Cove – Highlands Course in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama.

The Hats are coming off of a 5th place finish at the Pinetree CC Women's Collegiate, looking to turn it up a notch for a chance at the ASUN title. The Ospreys of North Florida took home the 2022 ASUN Conference Title.

Last time out, Stetson secured a 5th place finish with standout performances from Wendy Hsiao and Lisa Colee. Wendy finished tied for 7th shooting 218 overall. Lisa finished tied for 11th and finished 220 overall.
 
The tournament will be at Hampton Cove which is made up of three courses the Highlands, River, and Short Course. The Highlands Course, an 18-hole par 72 course, said to be one of the most picturesque courses on the trail out of the three will be where the tournament is played. The finishing holes on the highlands course are the most scenic, however they are the most challenging the course has to offer. With a good variety of hills, bunkers, and water the teams will have to be at their best to secure a championship win for their school.

The ASUN Conference Championship action begins Sunday April 16th with the first round, Monday April 17th will be the second round and the final round will be Tuesday April 18th.
