Pennsauken, NJ - Stetson men's rowing finishes fifth in the varsity eight petite final and third in the men's 1x petite final at the Dad Vail Regatta.
Along the Cooper River, the varsity eight took fifth place with a time of 6:05.652, five seconds behind fourth place Marietta in the finals. In the men's 1x
Matthew Clendening finished third with a time of 8:21.421.
"The men had a solid weekend of racing in Cherry Hill for the Dad Vail Regatta. The varsity 8+ had a strong performance in their time trial, but were unable to repeat that in the petite final today, as they came up a few seconds short. This crew learned a lot from their race today, and are ready to line up with 6 of these same teams again at the inaugural Atlantic Sprints Regatta tomorrow," said Stetson assistant rowing coach
Andrew Rouse.
Next up for the Hatters is the Atlantic Sprints in Fairfax Station, Virginia at the Sandy Run Regional Park tomorrow.Â
