DeLand, Fla - Stetson men's tennis signs transfer from North Carolina A&T Eder Blanco. Blanco is a rising junior who was an impact player for the Aggies.

Eder Blanco hails from Madrid, Spain. He began his collegiate career at North Carolina A&T. Blanco played two years for the Aggies and during his time was the winningest player in program history in his first two years with 29 wins. Blanco was a two-time Big South Freshmen of the week and the Aggies male tennis rookie of the year as a freshmen. Stetson head coach Christophe Noblet spoke highly of Blanco, "Eder is a proven winner and his sustained success at NCAT speaks for itself." 

Blanco should have an impact immediately upon joining the Hatters, "He is also mature, goal oriented and embraces our values wholeheartedly. He is looking forward to the next challenge and will have a positive impact on our roster right away," said Noblet.

The Hatters are looking to build upon 14-10 overall record and a season that ended in the ASUN Quarterfinals. Stetson will return most of their top six, while adding Blanco, Tim Gennes and Ricardo Baldi to the roster. "With our top 5 players from this past season returning, and the addition of Tim, Riccardo, and now Eder, we will have a very deep squad next year."
