Stetson draws against Central Arkansas 0-0 on Sunday September 24 at the Bill Stephens Track/Soccer Complex.
 
In a very back and forth game the Hatters would be able to keep the Bears from finding the back of the net. The Bears put up eight goals over their first three conference games, but Mallory Osborn and the Hatter defense were up to the task. 
 
"It is always good to get a point on the road", said Head Coach Chris Bergmann. "I think we executed our defensive game plan very well against a good conference opponent."
 
In the first half the Hatters registered two shots, one by Alexa LoBasso and the other by Annika Seem. They would also have the only corner of the half. The two teams spent a good portion of the first half figuring each other out as Osborn would make three saves. 
 
After the second half got under away the Bears made a push that saw the ball going into the back of the yet however it was ruled a no goal because of a very blatant offsides. That would be the best opportunity for either time in this game. Osborn would add another six saves in the second half. Seem would tally her second shot with Keli Zavatsky registering her first of the game during the second half.
 
The Hatters will return home for their Morgan's Message game on Thursday September 28. Kickoff will be at 7pm at the Edmunds Center.
