DORAL, FL - The Stetson women's golf team finished in 5th in the Pat Bradley Invitational hosted by FIU.
Isaki Sakashita was the Hatters top finisher as she placed 5th overall, the entire team finished in the top 50 in the 14 team tournament.
After round one, the Hatters found themselves in third place heading into the afternoon. Sakashita shot three under 68,
Elizabeth Eberle was also under par for the Hatters as she shot a two under 69.
Ailsa Brannock shot a 73,
Filippa Jansson 74 and
Grace Smith finished round one with a 79.Â
Stetson finished day one in third place, Brannock paced the Hatters with a one under 70. Sakashita finished round 2 with an even 71, Jansson 72, Smith 74, Eberle 77. Tuesday Stetson found themselves finishing in 5th ahead of ASUN foe Jacksonville, USF, Georgia State and others in the 14 team field. Sakashita once again led the Hatters with a 71 to finish 5th in the individual tournament. Eberle, Jansson and Smith all finished the tournament with a 76. Jansson and Eberle both finished 35th overall, while Smith finished 49th. Brannock finished round three with a 77 and found herself the second highest on the individual leaderboard for Stetson as she finished 25th.
Up next for the Hatters is a trip to Edisto Beach, South Carolina as they participate in the Edisto Island Invitational hosted by the College of Charleston October 14 & 15th.
