Louisville, KY – Stetson Volleyball fell to Bellarmine in three sets Sunday afternoon in a match that was moved back a day due to Hurricane Milton.
The Hatters fell down early in the first set and dropped it 25-16. The team battled back for set two after being down most of the set. Stetson tied it at 19 but eventually fell in the second set 25-23.
Stetson once again had to battle back in the third set. They were able to battle back and take a 17-14 lead with a three-point scoring run. The Knights tied the set up at 18 and the two teams battled before the Hatters fell 25-22.
Jenna Simmons led the team in kills with 8 followed by three different players who were tied with five kills.
Elif Yasar racked up 21 assists.
Zuzanna Rut led the team in blocks as she tallied four total blocks.
Up next for Stetson is another midweek game against FGCU on Tuesday, October 15. That match will begin at 5pm.
