CHARLOTTE, NC - Stetson softball fell to Queens 4-3 Sunday afternoon.
After her impressive game yesterday,
Lauren Hobbs returned to the circle in this game for the Hatters. Queens struck first scoring a run in the bottom of the first inning before Hobbs settled in.
Stetson wasn't able to get much going offensively until the top of the fourth. Madelyn Synoraci got on base by a fielders choice.
Annabella McClerren was then hit by a pitch putting two runners on for
Nadia English. English continued her hot streak doubling to right center bringing in both runners to give Stetson a 2-1 lead.
Hannah Marien came into the circle in the fifth inning for the Hatters. Three errors helped the Royals retake the lead with three runs.
Lath Freeman homered over the left field wall to bring Stetson back within one run however that was all they could score falling 4-3.
