DeLAND, Fla. - Entering their 12th season since reinstating the football program, and under the guidance of Head Coach Brian Young in his fourth season at the helm, the Hatters stand ready to make their mark. Last season saw memorable match-ups such as the thrilling overtime victory over St. Thomas (Fla.) in the season opener and the challenge out west against the #3 Montana State Bobcats. With the return of both PFL Freshman Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, anticipation ignites for another chapter in Stetson football history.
The excitement kicks off at home on August 31st as the Hatters host Ave Maria at Spec Martin Memorial Stadium at 6:00 PM. Following that, Stetson stays home for week two, facing off against Warner on September 7th at 6:00 PM. Then, the team hits the road for an extended trip, with stops at Furman and Harvard (Time TBD), with a bye week in between, and then to St. Thomas (Minn.), the latter marking the beginning of conference play.
Returning to DeLand on October 12th, the Hatters play host to Valparaiso Beacons at 1:00 PM, ready to defend their home turf. In between road trips to Davidson on October 19th and Butler on November 2nd, Stetson will host the Presbyterian Blue Hose for Homecoming Weekend on October 26th at 1:00 PM, seeking to replicate last season's success against this conference rival.
November brings more riveting match-ups as Stetson hosts the Marist Red Foxes on November 9th at 1:00 PM before heading out west to San Diego on November 16th for their final road game. The regular season wraps up with a thrilling home finale on November 23rd against the reigning PFL champion Drake Bulldogs at 1:00 PM.
