DeLand, Fla. – The Stetson Women's Soccer squad gears up for the 2024 Fall Season with new Head Coach

Starting off the season the Hatters will travel up to take on Gardner-Webb on August 15 at 7pm. They will then match up against Wofford at 1pm on August 18.
Stetson will then return home to host Alabama A&M at 6pm on August 22 and FIU at 7pm on August 29.
The team will then take a quick one game trip to Oklahoma and take on the Sooners to start off the month of September. That game will be on the fifth at 7pm. The Hatters will then return home to take on South Carolina State at 1pm on September 8th and The Citadel at 4pm on September 11th. The team will then take a trip to Tampa to take on the USF Bulls on September 15th at 6pm.
"We're very excited to announce our first fall schedule here as part of the Hatter family! We have managed to pull together a fantastic blend of competitive fixtures where our squad will be challenged in different ways. This starts on the road at Wofford and Gardner Webb and the challenges that brings with learning how to compete and win on the road, then traveling to SEC powerhouse Oklahoma and great instate competition against Florida International University and University of South Florida to name just a few," said Souza.
Conference play begins on September 19th at the Hatters will host Jacksonville at the Athletic Training Center at 7pm. The team will then go on a three-game road trip, with them first taking on North Florida on September 22 at 1pm. They will then head to Kentucky where they will face off with Bellarmine on September 26 at 7pm. Stetson will finish off the trip against Eastern Kentucky on September 29 at 1pm.
The Hatters then return home to take on conference newcomer West Georgia to begin the month of October. That game will take place on the third at 7pm. They will then host Queens on October 6 at 1pm.
Tennessee is the next road trip for Stetson as the team will play Austin Peay on October 10 at 7pm followed by Lipscomb on October 13 at 2pm. The Hatters will return home to DeLand, as they will face Central Arkansas on October 17 at 7pm before their final home game of the season against North Alabama on October 20 at 1pm.
Stetson will round out the regular season down in Fort Myers where they will take on FGCU on October 27 at 5pm.
The roster has almost doubled with now 40 student-athletes on the roster compared to last season's 23. It was even less than that because of injuries.
"The idea was to extend the squad, give a variety of experiences to ultimately prepare our group for a highly competitive ASUN conference slate in which we cannot wait to compete" stated Coach Souza.
The Hatters will look to bounce back from last season with a new coach, new philosophy and new roster.
