DELAND, Fla. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the 2024 Division I Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Teams on Monday with both Hatters tennis programs receiving the team honor and 11 student-athletes earning individual honors. 
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:
	- Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
- Be listed on the institutional eligibility form
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements:
	- Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale),
- All student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and
- All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year
The men's team finished second in the ASUN Championship this past year with an overall record of 18-6 (6-3). The All-Academic Team award was given to the men's program, while six individuals collected the Scholar-Athlete honor.

Tim Gennes (ASUN All-Tournament Team, Second Team All-ASUN, Spring ASUN Winners for Life Award) were the individual Hatters to earn the Scholar-Athlete honor.
"Performing on and off the court is our goal every season, and the players put a lot of work to make it happen. Congratulations to Haris, Juan, Lucas, Marc, Sami, and Tim for being named ITA Scholar Athletes and to the team as whole receiving the All-Academic team distinction with a 3.7 GPA for the year," stated Stetson head coach Christophe Noblet.
The women's program won their second ASUN Championship in three years this spring with an overall record of 15-7, while going a perfect 10-0 in conference play earning head coach 
Travis Sandlant ASUN Coach of the Year. Including the All-Academic Team award, five individuals made the All-Academic Team.
