Stetson Volleyball fell 0-3 to FIU and Wake Forest, Saturday afternoon to end their roadtrip to Columbia, South Carolina.
Against FIU, the Hatters battled in the first set trading the lead back and forth with the Panthers before falling 27-29. They then dropped the second set 19-25. In the third set, Stetson had a 20-16 lead but was unable to hold on falling 23-25.
The afternoon match against Wake Forest was a tough one for the Hatters. They dropped the first set 10-25, the second set 19-25 and the third set 10-25.
Over the two matches
Anabelle Standish tallied 15 kills to lead the team.
Selin Kalkan led the team in assists with 22 followed by
Leilani Vitale with 20.
Kayla Balfour led the team in blocks with 12, 11 of which came against FIU.
The Hatters will now head on down to Boca Raton where they will take on Mercer and Illinois State on Friday, September 20 before finishing out the weekend against FAU on Saturday, September 21.
