DELAND - FL - Stetson women's tennis concluded play in the Stetson Invite Saturday, where the Hatters played host to three other schools including Kennesaw State, Louisiana Lafayette and UTC (University of Tennessee Chattanooga). In Friday's matches, Stetson was able to pick up two wins in doubles play, while capturing victories on three courts in singles play. Saturday saw the Hatters win on court one doubles and five out of six singles matches.

"We got some good matches in at home in the Stetson Invite. I thought we played well for the first tournament of the year. We looked very fit, which is positive this early and it was great to see our new players, Franzis and Anastasija, fit into the team dynamic and get their first victories for Stetson," Stetson head coach Travis Sandlant.
