Women's Soccer fell to North Florida Sunday evening 1-2 in a battle to the very last second.
Shots were very few and far between through the first twenty minutes with both teams feeling each other out early. The Ospreys struck first in the 26
th minute of the game to take the lead. Stetson was only able to muster two shots in the first half with one of them being on goal.
In the second half, the Hatters came out with a lot more purpose. They tallied seven shots with three being on goal. Neither team was able to add any more goals through the 89
th minute. Stetson brought the ball down field and on a throw in

Sawyer Reynolds who tried to put the ball in the box. A defender intercepted the cross and pushed it out right to
Annika Seem who didn't hesitate and ripped a shot into the top right corner of the goal to tie the game at one with 58 seconds left.
North Florida went full force pressure and were able to get it past
Ashleigh Wise to retake the lead with 26 seconds left, as the Hatters fell 1-2.
Stetson will now travel to Louisville, Kentucky to take on Bellarmine on Thursday, September 26. That game will kick off at 7pm.
