Stetson Athletics Partners with Thirteen Willows Therapy to Support Student-Athlete Mental Health

DeLand, Fla. — Stetson University Athletics is proud to announce a new partnership with Thirteen Willows Therapy, a mental health services provider founded by Stetson Hall of Famer and former Team USA athlete Kaley Melville. This partnership will provide dedicated support to Stetson student-athletes, helping them thrive both on and off the field, while also serving as a key sponsorship of Stetson Athletics.

"This partnership is a true full-circle moment—once a Hall of Fame student-athlete at Stetson University, I now have the privilege of giving back by equipping the next generation with the mental health tools essential to their success," said Kaley Melville, founder of Thirteen Willows Therapy. "This work is both deeply personal and purposeful. By investing in the mental well-being of our athletes, we are not only enhancing performance today, but also laying the foundation for generational success within this program—a belief I have carried since walking into my very first practice here at 18 years old. Together, we are setting a new standard of care, one that ensures Stetson student-athletes thrive in competition and throughout their lives."

"We are thrilled to partner with Thirteen Willows Therapy to provide the support our athletes need to excel both on the field and in life," said Ricky Ray, Director of Athletics at Stetson University. "This collaboration reflects our commitment to fostering an environment where student-athletes can thrive holistically."

Stetson Athletics continues to prioritize comprehensive support for its student-athletes, recognizing that mental health is essential to their success. This partnership with Thirteen Willows Therapy strengthens the university's ongoing efforts to ensure student-athletes have the resources and guidance they need to reach their full potential.
