Jacksonville, Fla. – Stetson outside hitter Zuzanna Bury has been named the ASUN Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

"Zuzanna is deserving of this award," Head Coach Yang Deng said. "She works hard every day on and off the court. She sets a great, positive example for the team as well. I'm very proud of her."

Bury led the Hatters to a 2-0 weekend at home, helping Stetson defeat Jacksonville and North Florida. The Hatters handed Jacksonville its first conference loss of the season with a 3-1 victory, then rallied for a reverse sweep over North Florida.

Across nine sets, Bury totaled 46 kills, 18 digs, 3 aces and 4 blocks. She opened the weekend with 19 kills, seven digs, and a .318 hitting percentage against the Dolphins. On Sunday, she tied her career high with 27 kills and added 11 digs for her ninth double-double of the season.

Stetson will look to build on its two-match win streak this Friday, Oct. 31, when the Hatters travel to take on West Georgia. First serve is set for 6:00 p.m. at The Coliseum.
