DeLAND, Fla. — Stetson men's soccer graduate goalkeeper Nicolò Radaelli and graduate defender Ross Appolon have been named ASUN Co-Goalkeeper of the Week and Co-Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Radaelli, who previously earned ASUN Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 2, anchored the Hatters' defense in the 0-0 draw against Jacksonville on Staurday night, including three key second half saves that helped Stetson maintain strong defensive form. The graduate goalkeeper now has nine career clean sheets, moving into fourth all-time in program history, and has allowed one goal or fewer in four of his last five appearances while guiding Stetson to a 1-0-1 start in ASUN play.
Appolon, a junior from Montreal, Canada, played all 90 minutes against Jacksonville, helping limit the Dolphins to just three shots on goal. The defender's effort on the back line was instrumental in maintaining Stetson's organized defensive unit and securing the draw in the conference home opener.
