Hatters Ink Two Talented Recruits to National Signing Day Class

DELAND, Fla. — Stetson Women's Basketball announced the addition of two talented student-athletes to its program on National Signing Day. Head Coach Lynn Bria and her staff continue to strengthen a foundation of success by bringing in high-character players who can contribute immediately.

Heidi Rathmann, a 6-foot-1 wing from Antioch, Ill., joins the Hatters from Antioch Community High School. Rathmann is a decorated student-athlete who earned All-State recognition, was a three-time All-Conference and Academic All-Conference selection, and a three-time All-Area honoree. A team captain, she was also named a Daily Herald All-Area pick and an IBCA All-State Second Team selection after averaging 16.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game last season. Rathmann also competes at the club level for Full Package, bringing versatility, scoring ability, crafty footwork, and leadership to Stetson's wing positions.

Addison Godby, a 6-foot wing/guard from Fairland High School in Crown City, Ohio, adds a dynamic mix of shooting, athleticism, and physicality. Godby helped lead Fairland to three state semifinal appearances, finishing last season 27-3 while averaging 11.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 3.2 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game. A multi-sport athlete, she also earned honors in volleyball and competed in softball, highlighting her competitiveness and versatility. Off the court, Godby boasts a 4.7 GPA and also competes at the club level for Legends U Blue S40, ranked #3 nationally.

"We're thrilled to welcome Heidi and Addison to the Hatters family," Coach Bria said. "Both bring a high level of talent and passion, will make an immediate impact, and are a perfect fit for the culture we've built at Stetson. We're excited to see them thrive on and off the court as part of our program."

This newest signing class strengthens Stetson Women's Basketball as the program continues to build toward sustained success.
