NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Behind another standout performance from graduate guard Mary McMillan, Stetson women's basketball capped its stay at the Music City Classic with a 77–67 victory over Saint Louis on Wednesday at Trojan Fieldhouse.

McMillan paced the Hatters (5–2) with 24 points and three assists, shooting efficiently while controlling the tempo throughout the afternoon. Cameron Thomas added 19 points, and Promise Keshi delivered a near double-double with 14 points, nine rebounds, and a season-high three blocks.

Stetson won the battle on the glass 35–33 and held the Billikens to 37.1 percent shooting from the field—including just 22.2 percent from beyond the arc—as the Hatters' defense again set the tone.

Stetson opened the game with early energy, using a 6–0 burst punctuated by a Thomas three to build an 11–4 lead. The Hatters knocked down four triples in the opening frame and carried a 22–19 advantage into the second quarter.

Saint Louis made brief pushes after the break, but Stetson held firm. The Hatters protected their double-digit lead throughout the third, scoring eight of their 12 points in the paint to maintain a 59–45 cushion entering the fourth.
