DeLand, FL - On Saturday, March 8, the Stetson University rowing team competed against UCF at the Sandra Stetson Aquatic Center on Lake Beresford under perfect racing conditions. The temperatures ranged from 59 to 71 degrees, with a light tailwind of 0 to 2 mph and minimal boat wake, creating an ideal environment for fast, competitive races.
Stetson Coach Jamie Francis commented, "Good racing across the board. We benefitted from fantastic conditions and not much boat wake. Thanks to Central Florida Rowing for making the trip to DeLand."

Overall, it was a successful day for Stetson's rowing program, with strong victories across both men's and women's events. The team made the most of the perfect weather and clean water conditions at Lake Beresford, and with Central Florida providing competitive racing, Stetson's rowers showed their strength.
