JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Stetson softball fell to North Florida 9-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Caitlin Mullen started in the circle for the Hatters and took the loss after pitching one inning.
Offensively, Stetson struggled, collecting just three hits and failing to advance a runner past second base. Addison Foster, Devon Weller, and Madelyn Synoracki were the only Hatters to record hits, while Amber Chumley reached base with a walk.
North Florida jumped out to an early lead, scoring seven runs in the first two innings, and added two more in the bottom of the fifth to end the game.
Stetson will return home to host Florida on Wednesday, April 9, at 6:00 PM. The game is presented by Amanda Agnew: Local State Farm Agent.
