DeLand, Fla. – The stage is set for postseason baseball in DeLand as the Stetson Hatters prepares to host the 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Baseball Championship at Melching Field at Conrad Park yet again, beginning Tuesday, May 20. The Hatters, the reigning ASUN Champions, enter this year's event as the No. 1 seed in the Graphite Division and will begin their title defense at home against Central Arkansas at 4:00 PM on opening day.
Stetson currently holds a regular season record of 37-18 and a 24-5 mark in ASUN play, securing the top spot in the Graphite Division. The Hatters will look to repeat their 2024 title run and earn another automatic bid to the NCAA Regionals.
The 2025 field includes nine teams split between the Gold and Graphite divisions. Austin Peay enters as the Gold Division champion while Lipscomb, North Alabama, and Central Arkansas round out the Gold Division seeds. Jacksonville, FGCU, and North Florida join Stetson in the Graphite Division standings.
The tournament opens Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM with Jacksonville facing North Alabama. Austin Peay takes on North Florida at 12:30 PM, followed by Stetson's matchup with Central Arkansas at 4:00 PM. The nightcap at 7:30 PM features Lipscomb and FGCU in a rematch of the 2023 ASUN Championship Final.
This year's ASUN Championship follows a double-elimination format, with the title game (and a potential winner-take-all Game 15, if needed) set for Sunday, May 25. All games will be streamed live on ESPN+.
As tournament hosts, the Hatters will enjoy home-field advantage in front of the DeLand faithful as they aim to secure their third ASUN title under head coach Steve Trimper.
