Hatters Roll to 7-0 Sweep of Florida A&M

DELAND, Fla. — Stetson women's tennis turned in another dominant performance on Sunday, sweeping Florida A&M 7-0 at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center. The Hatters claimed the doubles point with wins in all three flights and followed with victories across all six singles courts.

Stetson set the tone early in doubles play, as Clelia Lombardi and Yuki Mizuguchi opened with a 6-1 win over Larissa Silva and Alyynah Thomas at No. 3 doubles. Pilar Astigarraga Harper and Dana Baidaulet followed with a 6-2 victory against Reagan Harris and Gabrielle Pierce at No. 2. Anastasija Adeikyte and Katsiaryna Tuliakova completed the doubles sweep with a 6-2 win over Luiza Eidelvein and Veronica Rodriguez at No. 1.

The Hatters carried that momentum into singles action. Adeikyte picked up the first singles point with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Thomas at No. 5 singles, while Lombardi added to the lead with a 6-1, 6-1 victory against Pierce at No. 6.

Harper clinched the match for Stetson at No. 1 singles, earning a 6-0, 6-2 win over Rodriguez. Stetson continued to roll as Dana Baidaulet posted a 6-2, 6-3 decision over Sydney Brantley at No. 3 singles. Katsiaryna Tuliakova battled back for a three-set win at No. 2 singles, defeating Harris 2-6, 6-1, 6-4.

Mizuguchi completed the sweep at No. 4 singles, rallying after a first-set loss to defeat Eidelvein 6-7, 6-1, 10-5.
