Four Hatters Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

DeLand, Fla. — The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2026 Academic All-District Softball Team, with Stetson's Kennedy Temples, Ava Braswell, Logan Forman, and Nicole Edmiaston earning recognition for their combined success on the field and in the classroom. In addition, Forman and Edmiaston were selected to advance to the national ballot for CSC Academic All-America consideration.

Edmiaston turned in one of the most historic seasons in program history. The ASUN Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year led the conference with a .453 batting average while totaling 23 home runs and 70 RBIs to capture the ASUN Triple Crown. The political science major set Stetson single-season records in home runs, RBIs, batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, and total bases while also earning First Team All-ASUN honors.

Forman made an immediate impact in her first season with the Hatters, batting .335 with 16 home runs and 44 RBIs on her way to Second Team All-ASUN honors. Behind the plate, the molecular and cellular biology major posted a .984 fielding percentage while helping guide one of the top offensive teams in the conference.

Braswell continued her strong career in the circle, posting a 19-11 record with a 3.35 ERA across 156.2 innings pitched. The elementary education major struck out 63 batters while limiting opponents to a .244 batting average during the 2026 campaign.

Temples provided valuable depth in the pitching staff, appearing in 31 games while recording four wins and one save. The physics major was also named to the ASUN All-Academic Team earlier this postseason, highlighting her continued success both academically and athletically.

Stetson finished the season with a 37-22 overall record and an 18-6 mark in ASUN play on its way to capturing the program's sixth ASUN Championship and earning an NCAA Regional appearance. The Hatters also set multiple single-season program records, including batting average, home runs, RBIs, and grand slams.
