DeLand, Fla. — Stetson Beach Volleyball head coach
Kristina Hernandez has announced the addition of
Kaitlyn Beck as an assistant coach for the Hatters.
Beck joins the Stetson coaching staff after a standout collegiate career at Florida Gulf Coast University and the University of Louisiana Monroe. Across four seasons of competition, she totaled 83 career victories, including 70 wins at ULM and 13 wins during her senior season at FGCU.
"We're thrilled to welcome Kaitlyn to our staff," said Coach Hernandez. "From the moment I met her, I knew she would be a great fit for our program. She is proactive, driven, and brings great energy to everything she does. We're excited about the perspective she adds to our staff, especially with her experience competing at FGCU and her familiarity with the ASUN. She's going to make an immediate impact on our program and our student-athletes."
Beck completed her collegiate playing career at FGCU in 2026, helping the Eagles earn a national top-20 ranking while posting a 13-15 record. Competing primarily at the No. 4 flight, she earned victories over nationally respected programs and secured two wins during the ASUN Championship.
Prior to FGCU, Beck spent three seasons at ULM, where she established herself as one of the program's most accomplished competitors. She finished her Warhawk career with 70 victories, including 17 wins at the No. 1 pairing.
As a junior in 2025, Beck competed exclusively at the top flight, recording 17 victories against some of the nation's strongest competition. She also delivered key wins during the Sun Belt Conference Championship.
Her breakout season came in 2023 when she posted a remarkable 27-5 record alongside her sister, Kaylie Beck. The duo helped lead ULM throughout the season, and Beck earned Second Team All-Sun Belt Conference honors following her freshman campaign.
Beck followed that performance with a 23-11 record in 2024, competing across courts one through four while helping ULM maintain success throughout the season.
A native of Roseville, California, Beck was a standout multi-sport athlete at Woodcreek High School. A three-year varsity letterwinner and team captain in indoor volleyball, she earned back-to-back Capital Valley Conference MVP honors and was recognized as her school's Athlete of the Year. She helped lead the Timberwolves to a conference championship and appearances in the NorCal and California State tournaments.
In addition to her indoor success, Beck competed extensively in beach volleyball with SFV Volleyball and Moxie Beach, earning bids to national championships and competing in AAU, AVP, and BVNE events. She was recognized as the top point winner in BVNE competition.
Beck is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in General Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University.
