DeLand, Fla. — Stetson men's basketball has announced its 2026-27 schedule, highlighted by a challenging non-conference slate that includes six regular-season matchups against Power Four opponents and 13 games at the Edmunds Center.

The Hatters will officially open the season on Monday, Nov. 2, traveling to Clemson before continuing their road swing with games at South Carolina on Nov. 3 and West Virginia on Nov. 6. Stetson will then visit Howard on Nov. 12 before returning to DeLand for its home opener against Florida Memorial on Monday, Nov. 16 at 7:00 p.m.

Stetson's challenging November continues with a trip to Louisville on Nov. 19 and a road matchup at South Florida on Nov. 24. The Hatters will close out the month at home, hosting New College on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 2:00 p.m.

"We are excited about the challenge in front of us," said Head Coach Donnie Jones. "Playing six Power 4 opponents gives our team a chance to compete against some of the best programs in the country and gives Stetson tremendous national exposure. It will be one of the toughest non-conference schedules in college basketball, but we see that as an opportunity to grow, test ourselves and prepare for what we know will be another demanding ASUN season."

The Hatters will play three additional home games in December, welcoming Trinity College of Jacksonville on Dec. 2 at 7:00 p.m., Abilene Christian on Dec. 19 at 2:00 p.m., and Tarleton State on Dec. 21 at 7:00 p.m. Stetson will also travel to Miami on Dec. 5, Cincinnati on Dec. 14, and Wright State on Dec. 16.

Stetson will close out December with a pair of road contests, visiting Central Arkansas on Monday, Dec. 28 and Little Rock on Dec. 30. The Hatters will then return home to open the new year against UT Arlington on Saturday, Jan. 2 at 2:00 p.m.

The 2026-27 ASUN slate features another challenging schedule for the Hatters, with Stetson scheduled to face each conference opponent twice. The Hatters open the home portion of conference play against FGCU on Jan. 9 at 2:00 p.m. before traveling to Lipscomb on Jan. 14 and Bellarmine on Jan. 16.

Stetson will continue conference play at home against Queens on Jan. 21 at 7:00 p.m. and West Florida on Jan. 23 at 2:00 p.m. The Hatters then hit the road for matchups at North Florida on Jan. 28 and Jacksonville on Jan. 30 before hosting Fort Lauderdale on Feb. 2 at 7:00 p.m.

The second half of the conference schedule includes a road matchup at FGCU on Feb. 6 before Stetson returns home to host Bellarmine on Feb. 11 at 7:00 p.m. and Lipscomb on Feb. 13 at 2:00 p.m. The Hatters will then travel to West Florida on Feb. 18 and Queens on Feb. 20 before closing the regular season at home against Jacksonville on Feb. 25 at 7:00 p.m. and North Florida on Feb. 27 at 2:00 p.m.

"The ASUN is always a challenge and we are excited about the direction of the league," Jones said. "The addition of West Florida is great for our conference and with five of the eight teams now in the state of Florida, the travel becomes that much more manageable for our student athletes. We are looking forward to the crossover games, the new matchups and the competitive opportunities they will create."

Stetson's ASUN schedule will include a series of new and familiar matchups, highlighted by the addition of West Florida to the conference schedule. The Hatters will look to use the regular season to build toward the ASUN Tournament, scheduled for March 4-7 in Jacksonville.

Before the regular season begins, Stetson will travel to Florida on Tuesday, Oct. 27 for an exhibition matchup.

Stetson will play 14 regular-season games at home during the 2026-27 campaign, providing Hatter fans with plenty of opportunities to see the team at Insight Credit Union Arena at the Edmunds Center. The home slate includes non-conference matchups against Florida Memorial, New College, Trinity College of Jacksonville, Abilene Christian, and Tarleton State before the Hatters turn their attention to ASUN play.

The 2026-27 campaign opens with a demanding non-conference schedule and continues with a competitive ASUN slate as the Hatters look to challenge themselves against some of the nation's top programs, build throughout the season and make a run at the ASUN Championship.
