Was a four-year member of the cheer squad, including three years as captain or co-captain, at Academy of the Lakes Prep School in Land O Lakes ... In addition to cheering, she was a member of the soccer team for two years, serving as captain both years, as well as the track & field team for two years, also serving as captain ... She competed on the cross country team as a senior and served as captain of that squad as well ... Suffered ACL injuries in both knees while playing soccer ... In addition to athletics, she was active in the all women's chorale and the band ... Was an honor roll student and a member of Mu Alpha Theta ... Is a Communications & Media Studies major with a minor in marketing.
