Stetson University's Kimberly Lyle broke her own school record in Saturday's 5K race at the Walt Disney World Classic in Orlando, Fla.
Lyle turned in a time of 19:51.74 to break a record she set in September by more than a second. The junior placed 49th out of 287 runners on Saturday. She led eight other Hatters, who placed 20th out of 36 teams.
The men's team placed 27th, with Brian Heisler leading the pack at 117th out of 239. He clocked in at 28:35.01 in the 8K men's race. Heisler has paced the Hatters in each of their four runs this year.
