(Fellsmere, Fla.) ? Stetson Crew finished third or better in all five races at Saturday's Keuper Cup Regatta on Canal 54 in Fellsmere, Fla. The Hatters claimed first in the Women's Novice 4.
The Regatta included teams from Temple, Embry-Riddle, and Florida Tech.
Stetson took first in the Women's Novice 4 race with a time of 8:19, besting second-place Temple by nearly 17 seconds. The WN 4 team was led by coxswain Brooke Wilson and included Kate Jostes, Alison Luccy, Becca Schyuler, and Katie Breller.
The Hatters Men's Novice 4 finished second, a mere five-and-a-half seconds behind Florida Tech. Stetson placed third in the Men's Varsity 4, Women's Varsity 4 and Women's Varsity 8.
Stetson Crew's next competition is March 24 at the Clemson Sprints on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C.
