The Stetson sand volleyball team lost two hard-fought 3-2 matches on Friday in the first day of the JU Easter Sand Volleyball Tournament. The Hatters (7-6, 2-1 A-Sun) fell to the host Dolphins in an A-Sun match Friday morning before coming up short against eighth-ranked College of Charleston Friday afternoon.

Stetson's pair of Alisha Hoffman and Catherine Coston went 2-0 on the day, winning 2-0 against JU and 2-1 against Charleston.

The Hatters will face JU again at 8:30 am on Sunday, before facing Florida State and UAB later in the day.
