Stetson women's soccer is hosting the 2014 Day Camp for Boys & Girls, July 21-25 at the Athletic Training Center.
Walk-up registration will be offered, and those wishing to register at the camp should plan on paying by either cash or check.
Stetson Soccer Day camp for Boys and Girls is designed to help build technical ability and improve the skill of each camper through fun, structured games which promote learning and improvement.
For half-day campers the focus of camp is to introduce and build upon your child's enjoyment and love for the game through fun activities which help him/her develop the basic tools to enjoy the game more.
For Full-day campers, the primary focus will be on teaching the requisite skills necessary to play the game well: dribbling, passing, shooting and ball control. Players will experience a skill circuit and a finishing circuit most of the week and will have the opportunity to play games in various numbers. We will also use the pool on a daily basis in order to let the campers cool off from the intense heat of the mid-day sun.
•All campers will receive a camp t-shirt
•Campers should bring their lunch and a snack daily; water and Powerade will be provided
•All Full Day campers should bring a bathing suit, towel and a change of clothes, as we will be going to the pool daily
Note: Stetson University camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
