News & Notes
Stetson won two of three matches last week, dropping only a 4-3 decision to Chattanooga on March 11 … freshman Ashley Dean won all three of her singles matches last week and is now 9-1 on the season … the pairing of freshman Arijana Korac and sophomore Maja Salibasic in doubles has proven to be successful as that tandem won all three of its matches last week and has won four of five overall this season … Salibasic has compiled an impressive record in limited time, combining for a 10-1 overall record in singles and doubles this spring … sophomore Carolina Meregalli has quietly won her last six singles matches dating back to a Feb. 21 win against South Carolina State … freshman Alizee Michaud continued her dominance in singles play, winning twice last week and running her season singles record to 9-0 … Michaud, currently ranked 80th by the ITA, has yet to lose a set this season … Atlantic Sun Conference play begins this weekend when the Hatters visit USC Upstate and Kennesaw State.
