DeLAND—Stetson women's tennis turned in a dominant performance en route to a 6-1 win over Grand Valley State, Saturday at Mandy Stoll Tennis Center.
Playing their first match in nine days after poor weather forced multiple cancellations, Stetson (8-1) looked sharp as the Hatters downed the Division II Lakers (16-6).
"The team played an excellent match versus a tenacious GVSU team,” said Stetson head coach Pierre Pilote. “It was delightful to see that the long hiatus since our last match didn't have an adverse effect on our level of play.”
