Hatters Fall 3-0 On the Road at UNF

Karmen Reivik Collects 26 Assists

Jacksonville, Fla. -- UNF hit .320 for the match and defeated visiting Stetson 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-15) Saturday evening in an ASUN Conference match at UNF Arena.

Shelby Connors hit .455 (6-1-11) for the Hatters (4-21, 1-9 ASUN), who dropped their seventh straight.

Madison Akins and McKenna Foster each tied for team lead with seven kills and six digs.  Karmen Reivik dished out 26 assists while adding four kills and five digs. Connors and Julie Varga had two blocks apiece.

Stetson posted 14 kills and hit .303 in the opening set, but the Hatters combined for just 17 kills in sets two and three.

Gabby O'Connell led UNF (17-10, 7-3) with 12 kills.

The Hatters will return home next weekend to face Kennesaw State and Lipscomb.  Friday's match against the Owls will be played at Stetson University's Hollis Center with free admission.
