Hatters Return to Action Thursday at Alabama

Stetson men's basketball makes a rare trek into Southeastern Conference territory when the Hatters visit Alabama, 8:00 p.m., Thursday. The game can be seen on SEC Network+, ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.

The Hatters haven't faced an SEC opponent since battling Florida on Nov. 28, 2011 at the Florida Citrus Shootout in Orlando.

Stetson (6-8) took a few days off for the holidays following their 81-72 loss at Campbell on Dec. 22. The Hatters rallied from a 14-point halftime deficit and briefly took the lead with just under three minutes to play but the Camels finished the game on a 10-0 run to get the win.

Alabama (6-5) defeated Arkansas State, 67-52, on Dec. 21 in its last game before the break. The Crimson Tide are coached by former NBA player and head coach Avery Johnson.
