Tampa, Fla. -- Stetson fell 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-19) to host USF Friday in the first match of the USF Classic at the Sun Dome.

After hitting just .056 in the first two sets, the Hatters (2-10) produced 15 kills and hit .250 as a team in the final frame.

Charlotte Earnhart led the offense with six kills and a .455 attack percentage. Eva Deisa also collected six kills, and McKenna Foster notched five kills while hitting .400 for the match.

Roxy Lake and Karmen Reivik tallied 12 assists apiece, while Deisa and Reivik each picked up six digs.

The Hatters recorded two solo blocks for the match, one each for Julie Varga and Shelby Connors.

Dakota Hampton led USF (7-3) with 11 kills. The Bulls hit .376.

The USF Classic continues Saturday as Stetson will face LIU-Brooklyn at 11 a.m. and Wright State at 5 p.m.
