Hatters Host NJIT Sunday in Battle of ASUN Unbeatens

Stetson men's soccer looks to remain perfect in ASUN Conference play when the Hatters host NJIT, 1 p.m., Sunday at the Athletic Training Center.

The Hatters (5-5-0 overall, 3-0-0 ASUN) sit alone atop the ASUN standings with three game remaining. The first of those final three games will likely be a challenge against the Highlanders (7-3-2, 2-0-0).

NJIT boasts the ASUN's top scoring offense and defense which has posted an ASUN-best six shutouts. Mamadou Guirassy leads the conference with 12 goals and 26 points.

Stetson saw its four-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday with a loss at UCF.

Following Sunday's game, the Hatters close the conference season with a home game against FGCU (Oct. 14) and a visit to Jacksonville (Oct. 20).

Saturday's contest will be available on HatterVision, and fans can also follow along via live stats on StetsonStats.com.
