Following a 60-37 victory at NJIT on Saturday, the Stetson women's basketball team will go for its 12th win in a row Monday night at USC Upstate. Tip-off between the Hatters and Spartans is scheduled for 7 p.m. with live coverage on ESPN3 and WSBB radio.
The Hatters (22-5, 11-1 ASUN) enter Monday's game tied for first place in the league standings with FGCU with just two games remaining in the regular season. Â Stetson has already clinched a top-2 seed for the ASUN tournament and home court advantage through the conference semifinals.
Stetson is tied for 13th in the NCAA with 22 victories on the season.  The Hatters' 11-game win streak is third-best in school history and the eighth-longest active streak in the NCAA.
The Hatters lead the all-time series 14-6 over the Spartans (9-18, 2-10), including an 80-68 win in DeLand on Jan. 21. Â
What does Stetson have to do to complete the season sweep?
"I think we have to continue to guard," Stetson head coach Lynn Bria said. Â "USC Upstate runs a very good dribble drive offense and they penetrate really well, so we have to be ready to guard, and we have to be ready rebound. Â They are a very good rebounding team."
In addition to the live broadcasts, live stats, the Stetson women's basketball twitter feed (@StetsonWBB), and the HatCheck text messaging system will provide live updates as well.
