Beach Volleyball Concludes Championship Season

DeLand, Fla. -- The ASUN Conference Champion Stetson beach volleyball team was not selected for an at-large berth to the NCAA Championship Sunday.

The Hatters, who earned an at-large berth to the inaugural NCAA Championship in 2016, end their season with a 20-13 overall record.

In 2017, the Hatters won their third straight ASUN regular season title with a perfect 10-0 record, they went 3-0 to win their third ASUN Championship in the past four years, and they were ranked in the AVCA Top 15 Beach Poll all season long.

Senior Kristin Lind finishes her career as Stetson's all-time leader in dual match victories with 88. She is a three-time ASUN Scholar Athlete of the Year and two-time all-conference selection, as well as earning ASUN Pair of the Year, ASUN Pair of the Tournament, and five ASUN Pair of the Week awards during her career.

Senior Kaylee Anderson finishes her career second all-time in Stetson history with 77 career dual match victories. She is a two-time all-conference selection and earned one ASUN Pair of the Week award.

Senior Tiffany Creamer earned 42 dual match victories during her career and won ASUN Pair of the Tournament honors with Lind in 2014. Graduate student Maggie Skjelbred won 16 dual matches while playing primarily at the 1 seed for the Hatters this season.
